So we sat… broken and battered, laying against the far wall of our makeshift safe house.

My Heart Is What's Killing Me
Did I do this to myself,
Or did someone do this to me?
No matter what they say,
Their words just go right through me.
It seems to me,
That I'm stuck being pulled away.
A hundred different directions,
A hundred different days.
And it's hard to do this alone,
For me it always has been.
Causing someone pain,
Having to make decisions.

Why is it this way?
My heart is one untamed.
I can't control myself,
So am I the one to blame?
I still fight for sleep at night,
The right answer's hard to see.
But it's easy to notice...
That my heart is what's killing me.

My brother's dog, Jake. He's the nicest pit bull I've ever met. He plays a little rough, but he is a very curious and intelligent animal. He listens very well and doesn't even beg for food!

Okay, I lied, he begs. But he just sits there and stares at you. He doesn't drool or jump on you, threatening your life over scraps. xD
